Keith Taylor MEP

International Disability Print Exceptions

Keith Taylor co-signed a letter with 89 other MEP's urging the EU and WIPO to take steps to improve the access of materials to people with print disability. The letter can be viewed here.

Taylor and Jean Lambert MEP wrote a letter to Baroness Wilcox at the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills expressing concerns regarding the lack of access to reading materials for people with print disabilities. In it, they

strongly urge the British government to support the proposed legally binding treaty for print disabled people. Only a binding treaty, rather than a soft “recommendation”, can bring essential improvements to the life of millions of

visually impaired people across the world. The full letter can be viewed here.
