Sajjad Karim is a British Conservative Member of the European Parliament.

Data Protection Regulation

Mr. Karim has put forward numerous amendments to the General Data Protection Regulation that have been reported as being lifted directly from lobby documents from organisations such as the American Chamber of Commerce and corporations such as eBay and Amazon. Mr. Karim, reportedly, has put forward 23% 'copy and pasted' amendments toward the Regulation, all of which lessen its potential regulatory impact.

Mr. Karim refused to comment on the allegations.
