Lord Hodgson of Astley Abbotts

Lord Hodgson is a conservative peer in the House of Lords.

During the second reading of the Data Retention and Investigatory Powers Act 2014, Lord Hodgson cautioned against the use of high profile cases involving paedophiles, terrorists and criminals in debates about data retention. He also said the use of metadata could possibly lead to the profiling of the general public.[1]
