Web content labelling
Web content labelling refers to attempts to embed labelling/classification metadata into web-delivered content that can be used by software, e.g. Adult content filters.

- RSACi (1995-1999)
- RTA Label (Restricted to Adults) http://rtalabel.org (2006-11-06 - 2010?)[1]
- ICRA (2000 - October 2010)
- PICS supported by Internet Explorer / Apple Parental Controls - but apparently limited adoption across industry, now discontinued (1997-2009)
- POWDER - technical sucessor to PICS (2009- )
- Quatro Project (EU project using POWDER) (-2014)
- Draft proposal for HTTP request header for safe content - 2013-2015, revived in 2018
