Career

Viscount Craigavon is an alected hereditary peer in the House of Lords; he first entered in 1974. He was a member of the Hybrid Instruments Select Committee (1993-97; 1999-2005). He is a vice-chair of the All Party Development, Population and Reproductive Development Group (1996-); secretary of All Party Denmark Group (1996-); member of All Party Pro-Choice and Sexual Health Group (1998-); secretary of All Party Finland Group (1999-); secretary of All Party Sweden Group (2000-); vice-chair of All Party Norway Group (2000-) and secretary of All Party Iceland Group (2001-).
