Issues

Communications Data Surveillance

Jacob Rees-Moggs has raised a series of concerns over the move enabling the Government to monitor the calls, emails, texts and website usage of everyone in the UK. [1]. In the same article he states:

It seems to me with the security services this should be targeted at people who they have concerns about, not everybody just in case.
...
A lot of innocent transactions will get known by the state.

Jacob Rees-Mogg has publically ridiculed this move from the Coalition and has dubbed it ‘hypocritical’ by the government.[2]
