Hitwise takes "clickstream" browsing data directly from the ISPs of 8 million people in the United Kingdom for a variety of business uses.

The UK ISPs that provide customer data to Hitwise are not disclosed.

Hitwise was sold by Experian to Connexity in December 2015.
