Introduction
The European Council of Artists represents the interests of professional artists in Europe. This includes artists, writers and performers.
Purpose
They are concerned with the enforcement of the intellectual property rights of artists. Their membership combines a number of the categories of artists represented by other non-governmental organisations.
Allies
Their allies include the European Writers’ Council; European Visual Artists; European Federation of Journalists; Society of Audiovisual Authors and the Federation of European Film Directors.
