Introduction

The European Composer and Songwriter Alliance represents European composers and songwriters of any musical genre. They are interested in defending and promoting music authors’ rights at national and international levels. ECSA comprises three of the main groups of composers at the European level: the Alliance of Popular Music Composers of Europe; the European Composers Forum and the Federation of Film and Audiovisual Composers of Europe.

Position

They actively support and defend the copyright regime.

Allies

Their allies include the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the International Council of Creators of Music Creators’ Rights Alliance (CIAM).
