Eric Ollerenshaw MP

Conservative MP for Lancaster and Fleetwood (since 2010).

He is greatly concerned about rural broadband in his constituency. [1] Also interested in teachers’ freedom to innovate. [2]
Prior Career
History teacher. He served as a councillor in the Queensbridge Ward (inc. London Fields) of Hackney. [3]
Education
BSc in Economics from the LSE.
Other
Eric was a board member of Great Ormond St. Hospital, a local councillor, a member of the London Assembly and of a police authority. [4] Member of many ‘All Party Parliamentary Groups’ including the Rail in the North Group, the Maritime and Ports Group, the Limb Loss Group and the Hill Farming Group. Interested in closing the North-South divide. [5] He is openly gay.
