Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism
(Redirected from Communications Capabilities Unit)The Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism (OSCT) is a unit within the Home Office. Its responsibilities include administration of the powers granted by the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act.
Units within OSCT responsible for access to communications data are the National Communications Data Service (NCDS) and Communications Capabilities Unit (CCU).
The Intelligence and Security Committee examines the intelligence activity of this office.
