Brexit/Draft Withdrawal Agreement

The EU has released a draft withdrawal agreement.^[1]

Data protection

GDPR applies in respect of the personal data of all EU data subjects outside the UK processed before and after the end of the transition, under Article 67.^[2]

There is no role for the ICO during transition – Art 66(a) excludes chapter VII of GDPR..^[2]
