Online Safety Bill

The Online Safety Bill was introduced into the House of Lords by Baroness Howe in 2012. She has spoken out in favour of introducing legislation that safeguards children from sensitive material. "I believe that children need, and more importantly deserve, the same protections offline as apply online." She has been strong in stating that rather than concentrating on censorship, this bill's primary concern is the protection of children. [1][1]
